We’re excited to announce that No Limits Grappling Academy is now an official USA Grappling Chartered Gym. This partnership opens up new opportunities for our athletes, both in competition and in protecting themselves on the mats.
What does this mean for our athletes?
- USA Grappling membership costs $66 and runs from September 1st through August 31st. If you're planning to join, we highly recommend starting your membership in September.
- As a USA Grappling member, you’ll be eligible to compete in USA Grappling Team Qualifier events, giving you the opportunity to represent at the national level and beyond.
- More importantly, all USA Grappling members are covered by injury insurance of up to $25,000 for medical bills or your deductible (if you already have primary insurance) if something happens during practice.
It’s important to note that USA Grappling membership is not mandatory to train at NLGA, but it is strongly encouraged, especially for those who want to compete or want the peace of mind that comes with having supplemental insurance coverage.

Head Coach Matt Marcinek shares what this means for the team:
“Obviously, there is nothing that I would love more than to have one or more of our athletes rep the USA on a world or international level—and hopefully, one day we might be blessed enough for that to happen. But the bigger thing for me, especially immediately, is the ability for all of our athletes to be covered under insurance. This isn’t something a lot of gyms do. I'm always looking for ways to make our athletes’ experience better, and if this can buy them some peace of mind, so much the better.”
